who are we?

Hi, I'm Monique and I started Island Felt Co in the summer of 2022. I have been an Early Childhood Educator for 28 years, working in daycare, preschool, StrongStart and Kindergarten classrooms.

I live on Vancouver Island with my husband and we have 2 daughters, 20 and 23. We love hiking the mountains and exploring the beaches of this beautiful island.

Felt stories have always had a place in my heart and my work. The focus of Island Felt Co is to provide high quality, one of a kind felt stories. Many of our customers are educators who use our sets in their classrooms. Families also enjoy using them at home with their little ones while reading along with the books.
